Friday Jazz concerts by students of the Conservatorium Amsterdam at OBA Oosterdok

The musicians

Oscar Ployart is a talented young jazz piano player from Denmark residing in Amsterdam. Among his biggest musical inspirations are Bud Powell, Wynton Kelly and Duke Ellington. For this trio concert he is joined by Magnus Austad on drums and Mauro Cottone on double bass. Together they will play compositions by Oscar drawing inspiration from his favorite music in the vast catalogue of piano trio. The band will play swinging, happy, sad, energetic and beautiful music.
