Are you longing for some Spanish warmth, energy and cheerfulness in the cold and dark month of December?

Come to the Thomas Church in Amsterdam-Zuid!

Coro Flamenco Calle Real is a flamenco choir from Amsterdam.

Its 10 singers sing various flamenco styles: fandangos, sevillanas, tanguillos, villancicos (flamenco Christmas songs) and more. They accompany themselves rhythmically with drums, tambourines and palmas (hand clapping) and especially for this Christmas concert: the zambomba.

The artistic direction is in the hands of the Amsterdam flamenco guitarist Frans Nottrot.

The instrumental accompaniment is provided by 3 guitars and a small orchestra of cello, violin and flute.

Before the concert, the short documentary 'Ida y Vuelta' about Calle Real's recent tour through Western Andalusia will be shown.
