Bizet Suites from Carmen

Almost everyone knows the music from Bizet's opera Carmen. The Habanera, the macho song of the Toreador: when you hear them, you almost automatically whistle along. The French composer Georges Bizet wrote his music in response to a story about Spanish Carmen. With its exotic Spanish sounds and colourful story, it is one of the most beloved operas ever, packed with beautiful melodies and the finest dances.
