About Elephant

The band was born in a year when a virus knocked out the music world. Against their better judgement, but with complete dedication, the four devoted themselves to writing songs. They retreated to their studio in the greenhouses under the smoke of Rotterdam and then convinced audiences with their distinctive approach, sound and resulting music.

Now signed to the illustrious record label Excelsior Recordings, the band impressed with their session at Noorderslag earlier this year, and not much later, their debut album 'Big Thing', recorded in collaboration with Pablo van de Poel (DeWolff), was released. The rave reviews that appear on it ensure that Elephant is not for nothing tipped as the new indie pop band that could make a difference in the coming years.
