Irish-born musician Damien Rice recorded and self-released his first album 'o' at home. Several tours followed, along with two more albums '9' and 'My Favorite Faded Fantasy'. With an unusual habit of preferring to walk on stage without a setlist, Rice also prefers to travel by sailboat to tour bus and is planning a sailboat tour in the Mediterranean in the summer of 2023.
