About Claude Debussy

Biljana Urban himself describes him as follows: "Debussy was an excellent pianist, a pupil of a pupil of Chopin, and it is precisely through his works for piano that he is able to deeply touch the personal, the intimate. What Mallarmé did with poetry, Debussy created as a composer: searching for a range of sounds, the ultimate art of finding the colours and timing...'' Sounds complicated, but this literary concert makes everything clear.
