The Academy of the Concertgebouw Orchestra has been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for 20 years and an important breeding ground for talented orchestral musicians. Former academics find their way to orchestras worldwide, with no fewer than 12 playing in the Concertgebouw Orchestra. In this jubilee concert, musicians who were part of the Academy of the Concertgebouw Orchestra in different periods come together.

In the Close-up chamber music series, musicians from the Concertgebouw Orchestra play their own programs in the Recital Hall. They are all special, one-off concerts that cannot be heard elsewhere. The way to experience the individual qualities of the orchestral musicians! The intimate concerts are organized by the Friends of The Concertgebouw and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
