Apollon Kalamenios

Apollon Kalamenios is a pianist, violinist and composer, born in Nicosia, Cyprus. He is currently studying classical piano with Prof. David Kuyken at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. As a pianist he has represented Cyprus abroad and attended masterclasses with various artists such as Andreas Frölich, Dejan Lazić, JanuszOlejniczak, Miguel Ituarte and Mikhail Voskresensky. He also enjoys performing as a collaborative pianist and has collaborated with Nobuko Imai, accompanying her master classes. In composition, Apollon has taken lessons with Meriç Artaç and Maya Verlaak since joining the Conservatory and has presented his works at festivals in Cyprus and in the Netherlands, collaborating with both musicians and visual artists.
