Atlantis & Other Utopias

Evening program with multidisciplinary art

The LiveART Foundation initiates the evening-filling program Atlantis and Other Utopias, a multidisciplinary project based on the series of Atlantis and From the New World paintings by visual artist Maryleen Schiltkamp with specially composed music by composer/pianist Marion von Tilzer in combination with video projections by VJs Anne Gentenaar and Martin Boverhof of Studio de Maan, who connects music and image as an artistic unity.

Von Tilzer's new composition and several other pieces will be performed by the Amstel Saxophone Quartet, percussionist Jacobus Thiele and the composer herself on the piano. Schiltkamp's paintings, which formed the starting point for the project, will be exhibited in the Posthoornkerk during the event and for 3 days afterwards.
