The international music press is wildly enthusiastic: Anna Webber came first in the Downbeat Critics Poll this year in the categories Rising Star Tenor Saxophone and Rising Star Flute. Anna Webber is a unique multi-talent on tenor saxophone and flute.

Her music runs like a well-oiled clockwork and is equally fascinating to watch. In her bands she brings together talent from both avant-jazz and contemporary classical.

In Shimmer Whince she works with widely recognized players from New York such as trumpeter Adam O'Farrill, who previously played with us in the bands of Mary Halvorson. The five-piece ensemble also consists of cellist Mariel Roberts, keyboardist Elias Stemeseder and drummer Lesley Mok.
