Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 1

'She enchants and moves', wrote the music magazine Luister about Anna Federova's impressive recording of Rachmaninoff's First Piano Concerto in 2020, awarded five stars by BBC Music Magazine . The Ukrainian pianist has now recorded all of Rachmaninoff's piano concertos and has also performed all four live at the Concertgebouw in the Sunday Morning Concert. The First Piano Concerto , with an extremely challenging solo cadenza in the first movement, is exuberant, emotional and virtuoso.

Symphony No. 3 by Johannes Brahms

Anna Fedorova has previously been a guest of the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra, founded in 2017 by the Greek conductor Dionysis Grammenos. Under his leadership, the youth orchestra made an impression at home and abroad, with recent highlights including performances in Konzerthaus Berlin and Carnegie Hall in New York. The young Greek musicians will now perform Brahms' elegant and compelling Third Symphony for the first time in Het Concertgebouw. Before the intermission, they will also play the spiritual Larghetto for Orchestra by the successful contemporary composer James MacMillan.
