All my heart

'Heel mijn hart' is a musical, poetic performance about love and healing a broken soul. The loss of a partner, the inaccessibility of a distant friend, or the memory of a broken homeland makes us long for surrender and comfort in the realization that what is broken can be glued together. As Leonard Cohen sang, 'There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.' In this concert, Angels sing the light through the shards.

Occitan singing workshop

Last year, after the study trip to Toulouse, Angels gave a workshop on Occitan singing in the English church. The participation and enthusiasm were beyond expectations. Once again, Angels offers the opportunity to study a beautiful new Occitan song together. The participants and Angels end the concert together with this song. The workshop is accessible to everyone. The workshop level is also suitable for novice singers. Participation is free; registration is via ticket sales.

The workshop starts at 19:15 (registration at 19:00) and lasts until 20:00. The concert starts at 20:15.

The workshop is (partly) made possible by the Fund for Cultural Participation, which supports initiatives that encourage participation in culture.

About Angels

Angels is a vocal group of 16 women from Amsterdam and the surrounding area who have a boundless love for world music. The group is known for its theatrical rendition of songs from various polyphonic and folklore song traditions, both in authentic versions and in new compositions inspired by them.

Conductor Tatiana Lina leads Angels. Throughout her professional life, she has combined her love for theatre, singing, and music. Her passion for arranging has resulted in many inspiring pieces of music for Angels.
