Andris Nelsons and the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig play Tsjaikovski
The Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra and chief conductor Andris Nelsons only have Tchaikovsky on the menu, with the Sixth Symphony as the main course. The fantasy overture Hamlet and the symphonic ballad De Wojewoda will also be performed tonight. This concert is part of the Tchaikovsky Two Days: two evenings full of masterpieces by one of the world's most beloved Romantic composers.
