An evening with Mathwa

Amalgamation

The sextet “Mathwa” will give their first live concert after their residency in Amsterdam. “Mathwa” are a band formed by musicians coming from Syria, Greece, France and Italy, with the shared goal of creating an original song repertoire where the respective musical idioms and spoken languages can converse and intermingle in a new blend without losing the specificities of each member’s sound. “Mathwa” are working on their first album and will share some of the songs and compositions featured in their upcoming record with the audience.
