Music from Rembrandt's time

Rembrandt by Night is a calming concert at the site where Rembrandt is buried. When the city calms down and the candlelight dances softly over the old walls, music from Rembrandt's time fills the halls at 22:00. Eight singers and eight musicians from Ars Musica, led by Patrick van der Linden, bring centuries-old music to life for 70 minutes – pure, modest, and straight from the soul.

Westerkerk transforms for one night into a time capsule from the 17th century. This is not a performance, but an ode. To Rembrandt, to whom he loved, lost or longed for. An encore for 750 years of Amsterdam.
