LGT Young Soloists

The LGT Young Soloists is a group of young musicians from fifteen countries. The string players are between 14 and 23 years old. With their artistic director Alexander Gilman, they show that they are much more than a youth orchestra. They play at the most beautiful festivals and in renowned halls worldwide. Their sound is mature, their musicality unparalleled, and their passion for music radiates from the stage.

American classics

The LGT Young Soloists sound romantic and melancholic in Barber's Adagio for Strings and John Williams' moving music from Schindler's List. Waxman's fantasy on themes from Bizet's opera Carmen shows their fiery side. Of course, they don't forget South America: in Piazzolla's response to Vivaldi's Four Seasons, we hear Argentinian passion with a Vivaldian sauce.
