30 years TOUTPARTOUT with Briqueville + Joe Gideon

In 2024, European booking agency for alternative music, TOUTPARTOUT, will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary with a series of anniversary concerts across Europe. On Sunday 15 December, the Ghent agency will bring this festive energy to Paradiso, where the anniversary will be celebrated with a day full of performances in both the Main Hall and the Upper Hall. The programme will offer a stage to both emerging and established names in alternative music.

Brickville

Briqueville has made a sport of hypnotizing his audience with the heaviest elements of doom metal and post-rock you can think of. The Belgian artist then mixes that with oppressive soundscapes and field recordings. The result can be heard on the latest album 'IIII' that was released last November.

Mdou Moctar

Mdou Moctar is considered one of the most innovative artists in contemporary Tuareg music. Raised in the remote village of Tchintabaraden, Niger, Moctar began making his own musical instruments at a young age. His unique approach to traditional Tuareg music blends authentic sounds with modern influences such as rock and electronic music. Moctar is known for his virtuoso guitar playing and innovative sound, pushing the boundaries of Tuareg music. His international recognition is a testament to his ability to merge the rich musical traditions of the Sahara with contemporary elements.

Joe Gideon

Joe Gideon is a British musician and songwriter, best known as the frontman of the duo Joe Gideon & The Shark, in which he performed with his sister Viva. His musical style combines rock, blues and spoken word, with raw and honest lyrics.
