Graham Gouldman

One of the best songwriters of the 20th century comes to the Kleine Zaal: Graham Gouldman, writer of hits such as 'No Milk Today' (for Herman's Hermits), 'Bus Stop' (for The Hollies) and 'For Your Love' (for The Yardbirds). And those are just the songs he wrote for others. As a member of 10cc, he scored world hits with timeless classics such as 'I'm Not In Love', 'The Wall Street Shuffle' and 'Dreadlock Holiday'. "We didn't want to become pop stars at all," says Graham Gouldman about the early years of that legendary band 10cc. 'We preferred to be in the studio, where we tried out all kinds of things.'

Heart Full of Songs

Accompanied by musicians Keith Hayman, David Cobby and Andy Park, he travels through his impressive oeuvre. Gouldman himself is also looking forward to his concert: 'I always love taking my 'Heart Full of Songs' show on tour. Acoustic performances always create a very intimate atmosphere where every song – which is what it's all about – can truly be heard. It also gives me a chance to explain how the songs came about and something of the writing process.' It is a unique opportunity to hear a special song composer at work up close.
