Do you always create the most beautiful knitwork? Then, we have a fun challenge for you. Starting on 2 September, the OBA collaborates with Studio Brei to knit a life-sized Amsterdam Winter Stable. Yes, you read that right: life-sized! Over the course of ten weeks, you'll work on this art piece with Studio Brei at OBA Javaplein and OBA Molenwijk, and the stable will be unveiled at the end of December. Will you join? Important Note: You are signing up for 5 days. The spoken language will be Dutch.

Colourful Wool
We all know the traditional nativity scene, but have you heard of the Amsterdam Winter Stable? You'll create a winter stable with Amsterdam residents who love knitting based on local figures and urban stories. This artwork will be filled with large, colourful woollen sculptures. The life-sized piece is knitted by Amsterdammers and designed by them, ensuring everyone feels at home in the final creation.
On 2 and 9 September, Studio Brei will guide the knitting of the winter stable at OBA Javaplein and OBA Molenwijk. Over ten sessions (five per location), the Amsterdam Winter Stable will come to life. And we're still looking for knitters!
