A-Bike Rental and Tours is the only company in Amsterdam which offers a specially developed Light Festival tour by bike. The two hour tour takes visitors through the festival’s breath-taking installations and artworks, offering the chance to see the works up close and find out more about the artists behind them.

Five years of the Amsterdam Light Festival

Celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, the Amsterdam Light Festival takes place from 29 November 2018 to 20 January 2019, bringing more than 35 innovative and interactive light artworks to life along the Herengracht, on the Amstel river and around Waterlooplein. In previous years, visitors could only view the artworks via boat and walking routes. Now, for the first time, this illuminating exhibition can be experienced by bike with the A-Bike Light Festival Tour which combines the best of the boat and walking tours. Bilingual guides (English and Dutch) will share their in-depth knowledge about the artworks and the artists along the way.

Two bike tours a day

The A-Bike Light Festival Tour is offered seven days a week for the duration of the festival (from the 29th November 2018 until the 20nd January 2018). Tours are available at both 5PM and 7PM.
