Slotervaart Branch Amsterdam Public Library (OBA Slotervaart)

The Slotervaart branch of the Amsterdam Public Library is located on Sierplein square. The collection contains a wide selection of books, CD-ROMs, newspapers and periodicals. Facilities include a coffee corner and an NL-plein (adult education point) with a workstation computer on which learners can practice basic reading, writing, spelling and maths skills. Drop-in tutorials in Dutch, basic maths and internet skills take place every Monday from 14:00 to 15:00.

The branch’s youngest readers can explore the BoekStart (beginner reader's) corner. Slotervaart branch makes a great place to quietly read, study or use the internet. Library members are permitted 30 minutes free internet access daily. Non-members pay €1.00 for 30 minutes. The library regularly hosts exhibitions and other activities.
