Sitcom, Boom Chicago's new hilarious improv comedy show is a throwback to the 1990s when every television problem could be solved in half an hour… including commercials. You know the formula: a group of (beautiful) friends come together in the same locations and work themselves in realistically imagined, but improbable situations. Amsterdam is getting ready for an evening of laughter. An escape party not to be missed. This show can be seen at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam.

## Description of the show 🎟
You know the format: a group of (beautiful) friends hung out in the same locations and got into realistically unrealistic situations.
Cameras captured the action and the 'live studio audience' knew when to laugh, applause and go ooooh.
Boom Chicago celebrates the glory days of the 1990s from which these iconic sitcoms came! Come enjoy the music, fashion and news from a simpler era of Friends, het Zonnetje in Huis and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
As a finale, each night, together with the audience, the actors will create a brand new Sitcom and shoot a short pilot episode.
In the process, we will try to figure out why these shows have enduring appeal. Is it nostalgia for a simpler time before the coronavirus? Is it a nice escapism when everything resets each week to how it was? Or did we just have lower standards for TV back then? In any case Sitcom, like its 90s inspirations, will be a lot of fun. #The90sWillNeverDie
## Food and Drinks 🍢🍸
The bar is open! And we will serve your drinks at the table.
**Food**: we have a small snack card.
Old fashioned night of laughter
Cameras record all the developments, while the live studio audience knows exactly when to laugh, applaud and shout 'oooh'. With the show, we're trying to figure out why these sitcoms haven't lost their appeal yet. Is it the longing for a nostalgic time when everything seemed more peaceful? Is it a nice escape option where everything is brought back to the way it was every week? Or did we just have lower standards for our television shows? Anyway, Sitcom, it's great fun, just like the 90s inspirations. #The90sWillNeverDieCheck the Boom Chicago website for current information about available tickets.
