All the gas and electricity supplying the whole of Haarlem was once produced on these premises, a reminder of the industrial era. Built in 1896 in neoclassicist style, it is a fine expression of this exceptional style. Of the original complex, three striking buildings have been preserved and renovated: the Oliehuis (Oil House), the Turbinehal (Turbine Hall) and the Energiehuis (Energy House). Add to this several subareas and a cosy kitchenette, and you hav
