What is Forro?

Forró is a dance in which the dance partners move close to each other. In the countryside, forró parties are an important opportunity to get to know a potential future partner. The movement of the hips is important. There is a lot of swinging of the arm that is holding the partner's hand. The other arm is on the partner's hip. There are different dance forms, such as Xote and Baião.

Get ready for a great evening, with forró, coco, xaxado, baião, xote and arrasta-pé.

With the Trio Forrós das Flores you can (and maybe you should) dance the night away ;).
