Innovative Dublin vocalist and composer Sue Rynhart sings in a unique and crystal clear voice laced with folk and jazz influences. With an extensive background in early music, classical, choral singing and improvisation, her compositions are an edgy blend of modern jazz and contemporary sounds pushing the boundaries of genre with her singular vision. In her duo performances with Huw Warren she approaches her compositions and arrangements with odd meters, serialism, spoken word and advanced vocal techniques. Welsh pianist Huw Warren has collaborated with known classical and jazz performers such as Joanna MacGregor and Mark Feldman. He has recorded two albums for ECM as Quercus with June Tabor and Iain Ballamy. Sanne Huijbregts has been awarded as a vocalist, a vibraphonist and as a composer. On stage she surrounds herself with electronics, percussion instruments and a Xylosynth electronic vibraphone, framing her voice with a multitude of sounds and textures. Her music is a dreamscape of loops, lyricism and intimacy. She’s also a talented photographer and filmmaker, designing her own artwork and directing her videos with a strong personal vision. At the BIMHUIS, Sanne Huijbregts will perform with bassist Pat Cleaver.
