Benjamin Herman Trio (+ Anton Goudsmit)

Benjamin Herman is one of the best known and most respected saxophonists in the Netherlands. As a solo artist and bandleader of New Cool Collective, he has released more than fifty albums. He worked with everyone from Dr. John to Paul Weller and from Han Bennink to Rein de Graaff. The Benjamin Herman Trio is a permanent fixture in his life. He has released several albums with bass talent Thomas Pol and pure jazz drummer Joost Patočka. Now they play work from this oeuvre, with special guest Anton Goudsmit on guitar.

Gideon van Gelder & Lilian Vieira

Lilian Vieira caused a furore worldwide with the Brasil-electro band Zuco 103. However, the versatile Brazilian singer can also regularly be heard in smaller, acoustic formations. Pianist Gideon van Gelder attracted attention in the international press with his albums Perpetual and Lighthouse. He worked with José James, Benjamin Herman, Becca Stevens and many others. As a duo they give their own twist to music by Toninho Horta. The Brazilian Toninho Horta is one of the most important composers and musicians at the interface of Brazilian classical music and jazz. He worked as a guitarist and arranger for such greats as Elis Regina, João Bosco and Sérgio Mendes.

Gijs Idema & ADAM Quartet

Guitarist Gijs Idema studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and the Manhattan School of Music in New York. His most recent album Shaping Time is the sequel to the solo album Marking Time, which was released in August 2020. While the solo album focused on the relatively introverted electric guitar, Shaping Time shifts the frame to a larger whole with the addition of the ADAM Quartet and singer Anna Serierse.
