Pianist Craig Taborn

Second solo album


Ten years after Avenging Angel, a second solo album was recently released on ECM Records entitled Shadow Play. The album was recorded live in the Mozart-Saal of the Wiener Konzerthaus. Craig Taborn made a name for himself in the groups of James Carter and Roscoe Mitchell. He often collaborated with contemporaries such as Vijay Iyer, Chris Potter and Dave King, drummer of The Bad Plus.
