This is your opportunity to dance to roaring twenties tunes such as the Lindy Hop. Brandsma is the only non-British musician to be part of the orchestra of the English jazz legend Chris Barber, with who he performed for 10 years. Quality guaranteed.

Swing, Jazz & Blues

The Swing, Jazz & Blues Orchestra conducted by Bert Brandsma returns to Amsterdam for an evening filled with swinging music from the Roaring Twenties - a time when quality music, entertainment and swing went hand in hand.

The repertoire includes beautiful arrangements as once played in the Cotton Club and Roseland Ballroom by renowned orchestras such as Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson and the California Ramblers.

10 top musicians will take the stage of the Kompaszaal on June 3, 2022, starting at 8:30 PM.
