Ozaandu is the result of a musical union between an oboist and a flautist from Catalonia. Born close to the river Zaan, this chamber music ensemble started in the Netherlands, as an initiative of two Master students of the Conservatory of Amsterdam (CvA). The works they perform range from 16th century renaissance pieces to modern compositions. Since flute-oboe is not a common formation, their will is to make it more popular, bringing the repertoire for flute and oboe to the audiences of today. At the Oosterkerk in Amsterdam. Admission free, but donations are welcome.
