Bach's Christmas Oratorio in Amsterdam
If you're even the slightest bit interested in classical music, you can't afford to miss the Windsbacher Knabenchor performing Bach's Christmas Oratorio this holiday season. The German boys-only choir are one of the most renowned choirs of their kind in the world, utilising their rich and emphatic harmonies to flawlessly deliver the masterpieces of the past.
Led by charismatic conductor Martin Lehmann and supported by the world-renowned Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, these young men perfectly recapture the beauty of Bach's 1734 epic. The programme covers parts I, II, III and VI of the oratorio, giving Katja Stuber (soprano), Patrick Grahl (tenor) and Martin Berner (bass) ample opportunity to make use of their spellbinding musicianship.
