Salon music by Pauline Viardot

First, experience songs and piano music that originated in and around the salons of the renowned singer Pauline Viardot, a highly influential figure in the 19th-century Parisian art scene and beyond. The writer George Sand and composers Berlioz, Rossini, Clara Schumann and Chopin were among her close friends. 2021 marks the 200th year of Viardot's birth.
