On Sunday, 19 May The Hague String Trio will be performing music from their new CD 'After the Darkness' which was released in February this year. They recorded compositions by persecuted Jewish composers whose lives were destroyed in the Second World War by persecution, murder or exile.

Four of the five composers, Hans Krása, Gideon Klein, László Weiner and Dick Kattenburg die or were killed in camps. The fifth, Mieczyslaw Weinberg, lived a life marked continuosly by persecution and exile.

The recording of Dick Kattenburg's Trio à cordes is a world première. In addition to his trio you will be able to hear string trios by Hans Krása, Gideon Klein and Mieczyslaw Weinberg.

After the concert you will be able to purchase the CD and are invited to join us for drinks!?
