Time-honoured Christmas music

The Christmas concerts of all 350 students of Nieuw Vocaal Amsterdam – aged between 4 and 21 – and the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra are about as heart-warming as it gets. The programme includes old Dutch carols and carols in the western European tradition, some of which hark back to mediaeval times. Banned during the Reformation, they are performed in new arrangements by Ton Koopman.
