Russian music from the late 19th century

A wonderful programme awaits you! Let yourself be carried away by the story of the Syrian monk 'St. John of Damascus' written by Sergei Taneyev. His dramatic afterlife is alternately described by an eternally quiet rest and the hectic life of the survivors. This piece is followed by the famous Symphony no. 4 by Tchaikovsky. Herein he describes the life in four parts: the fate, his childhood, the unconcern and his country, Russia. A beautiful and equally dramatic work!

The concert is conducted by Gerrit Maas en Jeppe Moulijn. Tickets can be bought at the door or ordered online. For more information and tickets, please visit
