Their concerts form a coherent whole, in which surprising connections are made between existing classical works and "masterpieces" from their own repertoire. Verso won the Vriendenkrans and Concertgebouw Prize in 2003, the award for contemporary music from the Comradio Competition in Barcelona and the IBLA Grand Prize in Italy. The duo made tours in the United States, Greece, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and South Africa. In 2007, Matthijs and Stefan gave a recital at the famous Carnegie Hall in New York. Pan flute & guitar is not an everyday combination. Creating an autonomous repertoire for pan flute and guitar is therefore the main goal of the duo. However, older repertoire is also regularly on the desk: works by Bélà Bartok, Mauro Giuliani, Astor Piazzolla, John Dowland, Nicolo Paganini, Maurice Ravel and other composers. The duo also regularly collaborates with other musicians and ensembles. There are programs with vocals, violin, saxophone quartet and 2 harps.

Trouw, 2010: "The duo is perfectly aligned."

Classical Guitar Magazine 2010: "Verso are highly skilled, very professional and charismatic performers".
