During 24H Centrum, the Amsterdam City Archives screens fantastic amateur films in the Filmzaal of the Treasure Room (the freely accessible permanent exhibition). In this film programme, you travel from 1920 to 1980 with film images of, among other things, skating during the severe winter of 1929, growing up in the 1930s, the Liberation in May 1940, the old Waterlooplein, Nieuw-West in the 1950s-1960s, the rebellious 1960s and the celebration of the 700th anniversary of Amsterdam in 1975.
