There'll be a smell of fresh fish all along the quay, where artisans show how pulleys and fishing nets used to be made in the olden days.
They do some fishing during the night and by day they make sailing trips with Museum visitors. Find out how you make sailor's knots and admire the variety of working ship's engines one of them with a huge driving wheel and listen to the tough sailor's stories for young and old in the dike storehouse. 
The Vereniging Botterbehoud celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and has chosen to do so in the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen. With its almost 150 registered vessels the Society is the largest preservation organization for historic fishing vessels in this country.
