The Town Country photo exhibition at the Van Eesteren Museum Amsterdam is a photographic adventure that takes you to all corners of the world while the pictures are only shot within the borders of Amsterdam New West. The series covers themes such as identity, home and immigration. Karlijn van Diepen photographed countless squares, trees, alleys and corners in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. By taking walks, a chat and a photo, she tries to find out what it's like to live in this part of the city. What do residents think of this neighborhood? And from each other? What do they have in common?
