The Second World War in 100 photos

Unusual in format, this exhibition has been selected from a call-out that saw people from across the world submit their images from the Second World War. Submissions were also invited from museums. One hundred of those images have been selected by a jury comprising experts and the public, each with a connection to the Netherlands. There’s a story behind each image, whether it’s a mother and her son taking cover as soldiers shell their house or images of the resistance helping people through the misery of war.
