Noble fashionistas

Grand dukes and duchesses, tsarinas and noble fashionistas of the time donned dazzling costumes which were set-off by brilliant bijoux hinting at the identity, taste, breeding and wealth of the wearer. Sadly, the Russian Revolution saw many masterpieces lost but this exhibition presents a gleaming array of the surviving jewels including pieces supplied by leading houses such as Cartier, Tiffany, and supplier to the Imperial Crown, Fabergé.
