The Amsterdam 'street art gallery' GO Gallery presents CTRL CUT, the first Dutch solo exhibition by Flemish artist Burry Buermans, on exhibit from Saturday, March 24 to Saturday, May 5, 2018. The work of Buermans has a recognizable style with very detailed hand-carved images, often with a nod to current events. The artist works exclusively with original drawings - especially from old books, magazines and newspapers.
For CTRL CUT, the Flemish artist (living in Portugal) takes 100 collage artworks to the gallery on the Marnixstraat, including 40 works from his stamp series. These little works are miraculously composed of stamps. During the exhibition in Amsterdam, visitors get magnifying glasses so they really go and take more time to see details.
