From Hungarian descent, French photographer Brassaï is the focus of this stunning exhibition at Foam. Known for his iconic black and white images depicting the grittier aspects of Parisian life in the 1930s, Brassaï also documented high society and intellectuals counting contemporaries such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí and Henri Matisse among his friends. Organised into 12 themes, the works reflects Brassaï’s unique eye and interest in diversity providing an intimate glimpse into the city of love and its people.
