Amsterdam from the past - photos from Dolf Toussaint

The Amsterdam photographer Dolf Toussaint wandered the city's streets with his camera during the 1960s, taking striking photos of residents. He captured the people of Amsterdam in their social environment, showing children on the street, pub goers and workers in a humorous light. This unique exhibition at the Amsterdam City Archives from 13 July to 4 November brings together a selection of images from the late fifties to mid-eighties to showcase the city during a remarkable period of its history.
