From Freeze To Flow

By being confronted with the ambiguity of her inner and outer reality, she experiences the incoherence of her thinking-feeling-doing. She embarks on a neurophysiological-emotional journey where the body is the only one telling her how to navigate through it. It is a thawing process of her nerve and sensory systems, bodily fluids, muscles and joints through which she encounters uncovered layers of herself. Each layer leads her to move forward to the next stages to meet resilience.

The structure of the performance is inspired by the 'Hero's Journey', from the book 'The Hero with Thousand Faces' by Joseph Campbell (1949), 'The heroine's Journey', by Maureen Murdock (1990) and 'Women who run with wolves ”, by Clarissa Pinkola Estés (1992).
