What to expect

The opening film this year is Somebody up there likes me about the legendary Ronnie Wood. Directed by Mike Figgis, the film paints a vivid portrait of the legendary Rolling Stones rocker. There’s also Billie about Billie Holiday, It Must Schwing! The Blue Note Story and Decades about New Order. The festival closes with White Riot, a documentary that takes a look at how punk influenced politics in late-1970s Britain as a group of artists united to take on the National Front.
