Need a change from the usual bars and shopping near Amsterdam’s Leidseplein? Then book tickets for Pathe City, a cinema restored in 2010 offering a range of popular films and the occasional art-house flick.
Amsterdam history restored
The Pathé City has been around since 1935, and was designed by the famous Dutch modernist architect Willem Marinus Dudok. After the 2010 renovation, the movie theatre was restored with 7 screens and a bar in the lobby for drinks or snacks before the film.
