Dutch Cinema Chain

City Theater was a Dutch cinema chain. The first City Theater was opened in The Hague in 1923. The Company to Exploitation of the City Theater then opened in 1929, also in The Hague, the Flora Theater and in 1930 the Odeon Theater. The Lumière Theater in Rotterdam opened its doors in 1933.

All the halls of the 85-year-old City cinema on Amsterdam's Leidseplein have been given a complete make-over. The rooms are equipped with luxurious single and double armchairs with a double armrest for extra space and a handy table for eating and drinking. This has given the whole theater an even more luxurious appearance.

The lighting in the halls has also been addressed. Thanks to the playful use of color of the chairs, foyers and halls connect seamlessly, allowing visitors to enjoy the ultimate luxury cinema experience together with their family and friends.
