Discomfort and entertainment
Wintering in a castle appeals to the imagination. Sit together around the fire, candles on and nice and warm. You will discover during Winterkasteel that the reality was sometimes very different. How did people get heat, light, water and food? Breathe in the winters of yesteryear and admire the beautifully set tables. You will hear during the winter audio tour whether life in a castle in winter was always so warm, relaxed and cozy.
Be surprised by the stories or play old-fashioned games. In the Ridderzaal of the Muiderslot, special attention is paid to winter parties and the accompanying luxury meals. Got hungry or thirsty? Then it's time for a hot chocolate and something tasty in the museum café. You will find the best (Christmas) gifts and souvenirs in the Muiderslot shop, also online.
If you want to know more about the Winter Castle and all the activities, go to the website and book your tickets .
