1) Meet the artists of the future

Nxt Museum Amsterdam

Nxt Museum's curation includes highly acclaimed, pioneering artists from around the world, some commissioned by Nxt to create works, especially for this new exhibition. UFO – Unidentified Fluid Other is curated by Bogomir Doringer and enables you to transcend the world as you know it. Let each artist introduce you to your hyper-self on a gamified journey from homo-sapien to digital hero-sapien. Try virtual clothing by digital fashion house The Fabricant, wave hello to your digital twin in the work of Ksawery Kirklewski and experience motion-captured vogue dancing by Jacolby Satterwhite (also presented at Tate Modern and MoMA PS1).

2) Literally play with art

Nxt Museum Amsterdam

The seven installations within UFO - Unidentified Fluid Other are all technically stunning, interactive and have a strong metaphysical component. Monster Head by artist Lu Yang plunges you into a mythological world where galactic warriors fight and philosophise on the theme "Does the self really exist?" From the comfort of a cushion, you can immerse yourself in the Great Adventure of Material World game, in which you adopt different identities. That is the attraction of gaming: time and space do not exist and... you don't exist either.

3) Nxt Museum has free NFT digital badges to hunt for and collect

Nxt Museum Amsterdam

The new exhibition includes augmented reality, 3D printed sculpture, gaming, digital fashion, motion-tracking, and: free NFT digital artworks (POAPs) to locate and collect whilst in the museum. POAP (pronounced poh-ap) is an acronym for Proof of Attendance Protocol. They're essential NFT badges to prove "I was there." It showcases your attendance at an event or exhibition, whether it took place virtually or in the real world. Each badge is unique, meaning the only way to obtain a certain POAP is to be at the event. Collectors can quickly accumulate a unique collection of POAPs which documents their experiences and travels through the crypto space. A POAP can be an accessible way to start collecting digital art!
