Grietje Tump Museum
The Grietje Tump Museum in Landsmeer was named after the house’s final occupant, Grietje Tump, the daughter Cornelis Tump. The Tumps were very wealthy, having inherited their fortune from their family who earned its riches primarily from real estate. Grietje passed away in 1973, and her house was later turned into a museum.
