Art and social enterprise

The gallery manages a collection of over 2,000 pieces with ongoing acquisitions of new artwork and artists. As a social enterprise, Beeldend Gesproken represents artists who find it difficult to be a part of the ‘regular’ art scene, often because of a psychiatric background. They liken themselves to Theo, brother, friend and agent to Vincent van Gogh.

Sharing economy

Beeldend Gesproken is at the forefront of the sharing economy, having participated in the ART | SHARE concept since 1992. This sharing system, where participants receive a new artwork every six months, provides an alternative for those who aren’t yet ready to purchase art of their own or who simply like a bit of variety. Whether it’s for purchase or rental, Beeldend Gesproken encourages collaborations and offers professional consultation to individuals and companies.
